Team Spotlight: Jackie Isaacs

Jackie Isaacs, Ph.D. is Associate Director of the Center and a professor of mechanical and industrial engineering.  For the past 18 months, she has also served as Acting Chair of Northeastern’s Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department.

Dr. Isaacs leads the research thrust on societal implications of nanotechnology, addressing the impact and ramifications of nanomanufacturing technology. She also reviews the Life Cycle Assessment of the nanomanufacturing processes under development and assesses possible alternatives to find a more environmentally benign process or product.
